What to Pack for Your Vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks!

Summer is in full swing here at the Lake of the Ozarks and if you have a vacation planned whether it be for an entire week or an extended weekend remembering to pack all the essentials is important. If you've never visited the Lake of the Ozarks before, you may not what to pack. Regalia Hotel and Conference Center has you covered! We've put together a list of the essentials for your vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks.


Pack for the Weather

We've been experiencing some hot temperatures this Summer so make sure to pack plenty of shorts, tank tops, and sunglasses! However, here in Missouri you never know what the weather is going to do so you also need to pack for cooler temperatures and rain. If you're visiting in the Summer, a light jacket and a pair of jeans should prepare you in case there are cooler temperatures.

Everything Swimming! 

If you're visiting the Lake in the Summer months swimming is more than likely on the agenda. Make sure to pack multiple swimsuits, coverups, trunks, and beach towels! You may even want to pack your floaties and water toys too!

Skin Protection 

You don't want to forget to pack all the skin protection essentials. Sunscreen, bug spray, and aloe vera should always be packed for a trip to the lake.


First Aid Kit 

It's not a bad idea to always have a first aid kit handy in case of injury. Even just having a few band-aids is good to have on hand. 

Toiletries 

Don't forget to pack away all your toiletries! Nothing is worse than being on vacation and realizing you forgot your toothbrush right in time for bed!  

There you have it, everything you need to have the perfect vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks! Making a list and crossing things off is the best way to ensure you don't forget anything. Although, if you do forget something most items can purchase from a nearby store. As long as you have your swimsuit, sunscreen, and some sunglasses you are set to have the perfect vacation to the Lake!
